Youth Drug and Alcohol Service

Our Youth Drug and Alcohol Service works with schools and the community in the Waimakariri and Hurunui districts to support young people and their whānau.

About our service

Our service is for young people and their whānau experiencing difficulties with their own or others' use of alcohol and drugs. We provide informed AOD education, tools to manage difficult emotions and situations, and counselling to work through underlying concerns.

Our service is free and confidential and if you have needs that would be best met with another service we can support you to move to help that works for you.

If you are a family member or friend of a young person and you have concerns about their use or how use by others is affecting them you can contact us directly.

We can work with agencies involved with young people, including schools, drug and alcohol and mental health services. We offer education to community groups on request.
