About our service
Kaiapoi Community Support is a central place where people in the Kaiapoi area can find out about a range of community information. Kaiapoi Community Support is based at 116 Williams Street Kaiapoi.
Our volunteers supports the community through our Community Pantry (Food Bank) and volunteer drivers.
We pride ourselves on collaborating with the community in our work.

Community Cooking Classes
These classes are held at Kaiapoi Community Support and are especially for food bank users. We can teach you how to cook low budget quick easy meals for families & individuals.
Community Christmas Giving Programme
Every year we collect donated presents from the community and distribute these out to those who are in need at Christmas.
Fundraising and donations are accepted throughout the year for this project, mainly from the community and for our Christmas & Easter raffles.

Brief Intervention Counsellors
We house two Brief Intervention Counsellors, one adult worker and one youth worker in our offices Mon/Tues/Thursday.
See your GP for a referral.
We have free legal advice available on site every second Wednesday, and can be seen via appointment, directly to Community Law Canterbury 03 366 6870
Nurse Maude Supplies
These are dropped off at the Kaiapoi Community Support offices once a month and can be picked up at a cost of $5. Orders are made directly to Nurse Maude in Christchurch.
Meals on Wheels
The distribution of meals for Kaiapoi clients is coordinated through Kaiapoi Community Support. See your GP for referrals for this service.
